I run creative workshops in collage, artist books, and drawing. I also lead my signature Sketchbook to Series course once a year, supporting artists to develop a focused collection of work from sketchbook to an exhibition.
I’m available to lead sessions for community groups, galleries, schools, and organisations. I hold an enhanced DBS check and have experience working with a wide range of ages and abilities. Sessions can be adapted to suit individual needs, group dynamics, and learning objectives.

Threads of Labour
National Justice Museum, Nottingham
Friday 6th November 2026, 10am-12pm
Join me for a hands-on workshop exploring materials and processes connected to labour within the prison system.
Looking at selected objects from the Work in Prisons Exhibition from the National Justice Museum, including weaving tools, sewing equipment, and handmade items, you’ll focus on textures, marks, and small repeated details.
Through simple techniques such as stitching into paper, weaving with thread and paper, and repetitive mark-making, you’ll create a series of small samples. These small samples will be brought together into a handmade book, creating a tactile record of process, time, and labour.
Open to all levels of experience, this workshop offers a chance to work with materials in an exploratory way, and to leave with your own sample book to take home.

Framework Collages
Framework Knitters Museum, Ruddington
Saturday 14th November 2026, 12.30-4pm
Participants have the opportunity to create a mixed-media collage inspired by Ruddington’s framework knitting and stocking industry. Using a wooden frame and pieces of knitted sock or tights as a base, you’ll build a layered collage using fabric, paper, thread and other materials. Add stitching and details inspired by the patterns, machinery and materials of the industry. You’ll have the freedom to develop your own design within the framework provided, adding stitching and other details to create a unique piece to take home.
To provide additional inspiration, at the start of the workshop at 12.30pm participants will be given a short tour of the Framework Knitters Museum, with particular focus on the frames and their materials.
The workshop is suitable for adults and older teens and some basic sewing experience is recommended. All materials will be provided.

Draw Derby
Let's gather in Derby and draw together - all welcome.
Founded by Karen Logan in January 2022 and now run by Jenny Stevenson. Draw Derby is a free, monthly, outdoor, all welcome gathering in Derby city centre.
Come and meet likeminded others and DRAW together! Bring a curious and playful attitude, jump in and have a go! Draw Derby welcomes complete beginners and those experienced in drawing.
We meet from 10.30am - 12.30pm on the last Saturday of every month.
